Esta referencia de tela está fabricada a partir de botellas de plástico reciclado PET e hilo de poliéster reciclado, por lo que puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. También presenta unos indices de encogimiento relevantes que pueden oscilar entre un 4-9 % de encogimiento a lo largo del tejido y un 2% al ancho en función de la pieza. |
The base fabric is Recycled PET Canvas – Dallas, a canvas-type fabric made of 100% polyester with a weight of 260 gr/m2. It has a width of 160 cm and is an easy-care fabric that allows dry cleaning with solvents. Although it cannot be bleached, it can be washed at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. This fabric can be used in a wide variety of applications, such as picture decoration, cushions, fashion accessories, and home textiles, among others.
The printed design that adorns this fabric is an abstract design, composed of multi-colored spots with an artistic and drawn style. The complexity of this design is standard, and its shapes resemble tiles. The main colors are multi-color, so it can be combined with plain solid-colored fabrics as well as with other printed fabrics that share some of the designs tones.
This fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a double-sided printed fabric, but only on one side. Among the general characteristics of the fabric, its textures stand out, being both rough and rigid, as well as its visual opacity. In addition, this fabric is sustainable, as it has been manufactured with recycled materials and has GRS certification.
Given that Recycled PET Canvas – Dallas lends itself to different uses, the applications and uses for which it can be employed are very varied, from outdoor decoration, such as cushions for gardens or terraces, to the creation of fashion accessories, such as backpacks or hats. Uses can also extend to home textiles, such as table runners, placemats, or baskets.
Regarding the care required for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach and to wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It can also be dry cleaned with solvents and ironed at a cool temperature. Finally, this fabric has been manufactured using sublimation (polyester), a textile printing technology that involves printing the design on special paper and then transferring it to the fabric using heat and pressure.
