The Prada Twill fabric is a twill composed of 96% polyester and 4% elastane, with a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150cm. This fabric features sublimation printing technology (for polyester only) on which a simply complex printed design has been applied, with swirling shapes in multicolor that give it a colorful style and a vectorial pattern.
This design is ideal for making womens and mens garments such as shirts, skirts, blouses, dresses, and accessories like scarves. The Prada Twill fabric printed with this design stands out for its soft and thin texture. It is a single-sided printed fabric made using digital textile printing.
Regarding the characteristics of the fabric, its softness and thinness make it very comfortable to the touch and easy to handle. Its composition and printing technology allow it to be water and weather resistant. It is also a fabric that does not wrinkle easily, making it ideal for garments that require an impeccable appearance.
On the other hand, the solid colors that would best combine with this design would be black, white, red, and navy blue.
As for applications and uses, in addition to those mentioned above, this fabric is ideal for manufacturing curtains and decorative covers.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is important to note that it should not be bleached, should be washed at a maximum temperature of 30°C, allows dry cleaning except with trichloroethylene, cannot be tumble dried, and should be ironed at a cool temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture the fabric is known as sublimation, a technique in which heat and pressure are applied to the printed ink, allowing the image to be transferred to the fabric. This process ensures that the design does not fade over time and remains true to the original image.
