The base fabric we are discussing is Glasgow cloth, a soft-touch fabric with a weight of 380 gr/m2 composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane. This fabric is perfect for use in outerwear such as coats, trenches, jackets, and blazers. Its printed design features black and white clouds, giving it a certain visual complexity, and it is digitally printed on one side. This design conveys a sense of nature and freshness with inspiration from the sky and clouds. The ideal combination for this design would be with solid colors such as navy blue, white, light gray, and pastel pink.
Regarding the fabrics characteristics, we can highlight its soft and thick feel, which makes it an ideal fabric for outerwear in the winter and autumn/winter 2021 seasons. Additionally, the fabric can also be used in home textiles, such as dining coasters or kitchen towels.
As for care, it is important not to bleach it, wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, iron it at a warm temperature, and avoid dry cleaning and tumble dryers.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation with polyester, which offers high image definition and design durability over time. In summary, Glasgow Cloth is a high-quality fabric, and its black and white cloud design can be used in various fashion garments and home textiles, bringing a sense of nature and freshness.
