The base fabric is called Hydrophobic Antibacterial Fabric - Tromso, a technical fabric, 100% polyester with a weight of 160 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The fabric has a hydrophobic finish to improve its impermeability and its texture is rough to the touch, but it also has an antibacterial finish that makes it an optimal fabric for fashion and decoration applications. Its printed design features basic and simple elements, such as clouds in black and white tones of standard style that refer to a natural environment belonging to the sky. The main colors of the design are multicolor and can be combined with solid colors such as black, white, gray or navy blue to create a more balanced aesthetic harmony.
It is important to mention that the fabric is printed with the design on one side, by digital textile printing, which allows maintaining its quality and durability over time. In addition, the base fabric is water and microbe resistant, which makes it an ideal option for manufacturing textile products for both outdoor and indoor use.
Among the applications and uses that can be given to this type of fabric are the manufacture of fashion and accessories, for both men and women, such as pants, backpacks or wallets. Products for interior and exterior decoration can also be created, such as cushions, tablecloths, sun loungers or frames. Thanks to its hydrophobic and antibacterial finish, this fabric is also used in the manufacture of personal and home hygiene products, such as toiletry bags or towels.
To maintain the quality of the fabric, it is important to take into account certain care, such as avoiding bleaching and not tumble drying. Likewise, dry cleaning is recommended, except in the case of using trichloroethylene. In addition, it should be ironed at a warm temperature to avoid damaging the fabric.
The printing technology used in this fabric is polyester sublimation, through which the design is transferred to the fabric by a high-temperature chemical reaction, which allows the printed design to be incorporated into the fabric and not wear out easily.
