Cloth - Glasgow

The base fabric used for this design is Glasgow Cloth, which is composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, giving it a soft texture to the touch. The fabrics weight is 380 gr/m2 and its width reaches 150 cm. The printed design presents a standard complexity in a botanical and decorative style, with a nature that focuses on plants and, more specifically, on tulips. The main colors of the design are multicolored, allowing it to easily combine with solid colors such as black, white, or dark blue. It should be noted that the fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing.

In terms of general characteristics, the softness of the base fabrics texture is combined with the visual complexity of the printed design. The printing technology used allows for faithful reproduction of the designs details, highlighting its botanical and decorative style with artistic flowers intertwined in a complex pattern. On the other hand, the fabric has multiple applications and uses ranging from fashion (coat, jacket, blazer) to home decoration (coasters, cloths, etc.) and other applications such as altar making. It is a type of fabric especially suitable for the winter and autumn/winter 2021 season.

Regarding care, the fabric requires washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, does not allow dry cleaning, and cannot be tumble dried. In addition, it is recommended not to bleach and to iron at a warm temperature to maintain the characteristics of its fabric.

Finally, the printing technology used for the production of this fabric is sublimation, which consists of transferring the design from special paper to the fabric using high temperatures and pressure to fix the colors in the fabrics fiber. This printing technique allows for exceptional image quality with sharp definition and vibrant colors, resulting in an attractive and durable printed design.
