The base fabric is a polyester lycra called Cairo, weighing 220 gr/m2, which stands out for its elasticity and softness to the touch, making it perfect for sportswear and lingerie. The printed design has standard complexity with a tropical and botanical style, in multicolored tones and artistic flowers. This design can be combined with solid colors such as white, black, green, and pink. It is worth mentioning that this fabric is printed with the design on one side only using digital textile printing.
Regarding its general characteristics, Cairo fabric is chlorine resistant and has a very high UPF protection factor of 50+. Furthermore, the tropical and botanical design, with multicolored artistic flowers, adds a fresh and natural touch to any garment made with it. In addition, this lycra is very versatile and can be used in different applications, such as sportswear, lingerie, tops, swimsuits, and bikinis, among others.
Among the fabrics attributes, the applications and uses that can be given to Cairo fabric stand out, going beyond what was mentioned above, as its elasticity and softness also make it perfect for knitwear and scrunchies. As for care, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C, do not tumble dry, iron at cool temperature, and dry cleaning is permitted except for trichloroethylene.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation, which consists of printing an image on transfer paper and transferring it to the fabric with a heat press. This allows for high quality and definition of the designs.
