The base fabric is a 100% polyester satin or sateen with a weight of 120 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, known as Satin - Amsterdam. Its printed design consists of a combination of botanical and natural drawings, with artistic leaves, branches, and pictorial floral designs, thus creating a bright and smooth visual and tactile sensation. The main design is multicolored, which gives the fabric great versatility when combining it with other solid colors.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed on one side using digital textile printing, meaning it is not a double-sided printed fabric but printed on one side only. The combination of the fabrics quality and the precision in printing the design makes for a perfect combination and provides an extra level of quality and durability.
Among the general characteristics of the fabric, we find its smooth and shiny texture and feel. On the other hand, the printed design provides a visual and tactile texture that blends perfectly with the fabrics texture.
Regarding the applications of the fabric, we can say that Satin - Amsterdam can be used to design blouses, jumpsuits, skirts, trousers, tops, scarves, and evening wear. It can also be used in lingerie, such as pajamas, dresses, and bridal wear. Of course, thanks to its quality, it is also perfect for creating fashion accessories, such as bags or belts.
In terms of care, it is important to note that the fabric should not be bleached, that the maximum washing temperature is 40° C, and that dry cleaning is allowed, as long as trichloroethylene is not used. As for ironing, it should be done at a warm temperature, and it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
Finally, the fabric is manufactured using sublimation printing technology (polyester). This technique involves the use of special inks that evaporate with heat, penetrating the fabric fibers permanently and deeply. In this way, the result is a print with high quality and definition, as well as excellent durability, which guarantees the longevity of the color and the original image for a long time.
