The Recycled Lycra fabric - Recycled is a stretchy and soft fabric weighing 190 gr/m2, with a composition of 85% polyester and 15% elastane, certified as recycled and sustainable by the GRS standard. It is available in a width of 150 cm and is suitable for applications such as hair ties, scrunchies, bikinis, and sports swimwear, as well as for fashion garments like swimsuits. Its printed design stands out for its simplicity, blurry and botanical style, with artistic and drawn touches of artistic flowers and pictorial florals in old lace white, deep blue, and whale blue tones. It is printed on one side using sublimation technology on polyester.
Regarding its general characteristics, this fabric presents a soft and elastic texture, is chlorine-resistant, and has a high UV protection factor (50+). On the other hand, the printed design adds a subtle and natural touch to any garment. Furthermore, its color combination allows for contrasts with plain tones such as black, gray, red, or pink.
The Recycled Lycra fabric - Recycled is suitable for various applications and uses, as mentioned above. Its elasticity makes it a comfortable fabric for swimwear and sportswear, and its softness and design make it suitable for fashion garments such as swimsuits. It is also a sustainable and environmentally friendly fabric, making it a conscious choice.
For its care, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, iron at low temperature, and not tumble dry. Additionally, dry cleaning should be avoided to protect the fabrics composition.
Regarding its printing technology, sublimation on polyester is used to print the patterned design clearly and wear-resistant. This technique consists of transferring the ink to the fabric using heat and pressure, thus achieving a durable finish with high image quality.
