The base fabric is a 220 gr/m2 Polyester Lycra called Cairo, which has a composition of 90% polyester and 10% elastane, giving it elasticity and a soft texture to the touch. Its printed design stands out for being abstract, with a drawn and botanical style, in which multicolored colors in watercolor tones predominate. This printed design on Cairo fabric can perfectly combine with plain colors in turquoise, magenta and purple tones.
The fabric is printed with the patterned design on one side using digital textile printing, allowing the design to be more vivid and durable. The texture of the fabric is elastic and soft, and it also has a chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection 50+, ideal for use in sports garments such as bikinis and swimsuits.
The 220 gr/m2 Polyester Lycra – Cairo is ideal for various types of applications and uses, including sportswear for women, men and children, lingerie such as bodysuits and bras, tops and knitwear, as well as scrunchies. In addition, its use extends to swimwear such as bikinis and swimsuits.
It is important to take into account the specific care to maintain the quality of the fabric, such as not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, dry cleaning except trichloroethylene, ironing at cold temperature and not tumble drying.
The printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which consists of transferring inks from a special paper printed with the design to the fabric through heat and pressure, achieving high quality and precision in the printed designs.
