The Recycled Lycra fabric features a printed design with multiple attributes. With a composition base of 85% POLYESTER and 15% ELASTANE, a weight of 190 gr/m2, and a soft and elastic texture, this fabric is ideal for making sportswear and swimwear, as well as other uses like scrunchies. Additionally, its GRS certification and sustainability thanks to being a recycled fabric make it a responsible choice.
The printed design of the fabric presents standard complexity with a drawn and botanical style. Its watercolor aesthetic and colorfulness incorporate artistic and pictorial floral elements, highlighting roses. The main colors of this design are multi-colored, allowing for multiple combination possibilities with solid colors such as white, black, pale pink, or light green. Digital textile printing is done on one side, which allows the colors and details of the print to remain vivid and sharp for a significant period of time.
The general characteristics of the fabric include a chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection of 50+. Furthermore, its soft and elastic feel makes it comfortable and suitable for making garments that require some elasticity. The applications and uses for the fabric are varied, as it can be used for sportswear and swimwear, such as bikinis and swimsuits, as well as other uses like scrunchies. It is a versatile and adaptable fabric for multiple needs.
For fabric care, it is recommended not to use bleach and to wash at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. It is not suitable for dry cleaning or tumble drying. For ironing, it is recommended to set the temperature to the lowest.
The printing technology on this fabric is sublimation, which allows the dye to penetrate the fabric fiber, and not just stay on its surface. This produces a print resistant to washing and wear over time.
