Prada Twill fabric is a twill composed of 96% polyester and 4% elastane with a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design features multicolor gingham checks. This design is characterized by geometric shapes with a retro touch, evoking the classic print that became popular in the 1950s. The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only.
In terms of its characteristics, Prada Twill stands out for its soft and thin texture. In addition, it combines perfectly with solid colors such as white, gray, black, and navy blue. Regarding applications and uses, this fabric is perfect for making womens and mens fashion garments such as shirts, skirts, blouses, and dresses, as well as for creating accessories such as scarves. Its ideal season for use is summer due to its lightness and freshness.
As for fabric care, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It is suitable for dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene, and should be ironed at a cool temperature. Tumble drying is not recommended.
The printing technology used for the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation, which consists of applying heat and pressure to transfer a dye-based ink directly to the fabric fiber, achieving a durable and high-quality print. In this way, designs with bright and defined colors with great fixation to the fabric are obtained.
