The Lycra Polyester fabric - Nairobi is an elastic fabric with a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane, with a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The printed design is characterized by its botanical and drawn style, with stylized, pictorial, and artistic floral elements in predominant shades of cotton white, cloud grey, and sage brown. In addition, this fabric can be combined with plain colors such as black, olive green, and fuchsia to create an interesting contrast. The fabric is printed on one side by digital textile printing, which gives it great definition and quality.
Regarding general characteristics, this fabric stands out for its elastic texture and its resistance to chlorine, in addition to having a very high UV protection of 50+. It is ideal for making sportswear and swimwear, as well as lingerie and fashion. In the case of swimsuits and bikinis, its ability to resist chlorine is crucial to maintain the quality of the fabric.
As for care, it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and avoid bleaching. It is preferable not to use a dryer and not to iron at a high temperature. As for dry cleaning, it can be done without problems except with trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used is sublimation, which consists of transferring color from a special printed paper to the fabric using heat and pressure. This process guarantees high quality and durability in the print and allows the creation of very detailed and expressive designs.
