Se trata de un tejido con relieve y al ser impreso presenta fuerza de color en las fibras más externas quedando en su color natural las fibras internas. Puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. |
Chanel Tweed fabric is an incredibly durable woven fabric made of 100% polyester. With a weight of 420 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric has a stiff yet pleasant feel. Its intricate printed design includes botanical, decorative, artistic, and drawn elements that represent floral nature with carnations, artistic flowers, and pictorial florals in desert sand pink, worm pink, and darkmagenta pink as main tones. This fabric could be perfectly combined with solid colors such as beige, black, and white.
The general characteristics of the fabric are those of a resistant and thick fabric, with a rigid appearance and a pleasant texture to the touch. The single-sided digital textile printed design features complex and detailed elements that recreate floral nature in an artistic and creative way. This fabric is commonly used for making jackets, blazers, coats/trenches, skirts, dresses, blousons/vests, cushions, shorts/bermudas, and sports caps.
Since the fabric is 100% polyester, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30°C. It should not be tumble dried and cold ironing is suggested. Dry cleaning of this fabric is allowed, except with trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used for this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This digital textile printing method allows the reproduction of complex and detailed designs in high resolution on one side of the fabric.
