Recycled Lycra fabric is a lycra-type fabric composed of 85% recycled polyester and 15% elastane. It has a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, also has GRS certification and is sustainable thanks to its recycled material. Its simple complexity printed design is characterized by its decorative and artistic style, and its abstract shapes with circles and polka dots, mainly in sepia brown, cherry red and army grey tones. This design can be combined with plain colors such as white, black, dark brown and beige. The fabric is printed with the design on one side by digital textile printing.
The general characteristics of this fabric are that it has a soft and elastic texture, and is finished with chlorine resistance and very high UV protection 50+. This fabric can be used in various applications such as scrunchies, bikinis and swimsuits. In addition, its durability and resistance make it ideal for sports, whether in the pool or on the beach.
For its care, this fabric should not be bleached or dry cleaned, but washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and ironed at a cold temperature. It should not be tumble dried. It is important to follow these guidelines to maintain the quality and durability of the fabric in its optimal state.
The printing technology used for this fabric is sublimation, in which ink is transferred from transfer paper to the fabric using a combination of heat and pressure. This guarantees color fidelity and the quality of the printed image, generating a high quality design in the long term.
