The 100% polyester Satin/Silk fabric known as Satin - Amsterdam features a printed design in a drawn and botanical style, with stripe and circle shapes, pictorial floral elements and artistic flowers, as well as plant petals in different sizes. The main colors of the design are MistyRose pink, fox orange, and hazel green, creating a subtle blend of warm and natural hues.
In symbolic terms, the design evokes elegance and sophistication, and its combination of geometric shapes and natural elements creates a sense of balance between the natural and the human. From a technical point of view, the fabric texture is shiny and smooth to the touch, making it ideal for high-quality garments such as blouses, dresses, pajamas, or pants.
The fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not a double-sided printed fabric, but printed on a single side. This ensures sharp resolution and long-lasting color quality.
In terms of general characteristics, the fabric is light and soft to the touch, with a smooth drape and a discreet sheen. The printed design does not affect the physical properties of the fabric, such as wear resistance or the ability to retain its shape after washing. The fabric is suitable for use in high-quality garments, as well as delicate accessories.
The applications and uses of this fabric are varied, from mens and womens shirts and blouses, skirts and jumpsuits, to accessories such as scarves and kimonos. It also perfectly adapts to lingerie, adding a touch of delicacy and elegance to garments such as pajamas and dresses.
For its maintenance, it is important to follow the care instructions provided by the manufacturer. The fabric should not be bleached, and can be machine washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It allows dry cleaning except for trichloroethylene, ironing at a warm temperature, and can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
Regarding the printing technology used in this fabric, it is sublimation, a technique that consists of transferring the ink of the printed design from special paper to the base fabric using heat and pressure. This allows the colors to set more durably and produces high-definition designs with complex details.
