The base fabric of the cloth is a Scottish tartan composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design features multiple characteristics, being complex and exotic, with a tropical, decorative, and botanical touch, drawn in multicolor.
This design combined with solid colors such as black, green, or yellow could provide an interesting and elegant contrast. Furthermore, it is important to note that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on only one side using digital textile printing.
The fabric has a soft texture to the touch, and the printed design brings freshness, originality, and life to any garment or decorative accessory made with it. The Glasgow Scottish tartan is especially used for high-quality winter and autumn outerwear, although it can also be used for other purposes such as home accessories, such as coasters.
To maintain the quality of the fabric, it is recommended to machine wash it with cold water or at max. 40ºC, do not use chlorine or dry cleaning, iron at a gentle temperature, and do not tumble dry. With these basic cares, the fabric will retain its properties and its stamped design for a long time.
The printing technology used for this fabric is sublimation, a printing technique that allows an image to be printed on special paper, which is then transferred by heat and pressure to the fabric, with the ink penetrating the fibers of the fabric and resulting in a high-quality and durable print.
