The base fabric we use is Polyester Lycra, Nairobi, weighing 270 gr/m2, which is the perfect canvas for our printed design. It boasts a unique blend of attributes: abstract with multicolored spots, painting in modern art and chinoiserie style, standard complexity, and hand-drawn. These main colors can be perfectly combined with solid colors such as white, black, or a tone that subtly highlights one of the design colors. The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only.
Regarding the fabrics characteristics, we can highlight its texture, feel, and elasticity, which make it ideal for garments such as lingerie, swimwear, tights, leggings, and sports leotards. Additionally, it is chlorine-resistant and features very high UV protection (50+), making it perfect for garments that will be exposed to sun and water.
As for the applications and uses of this fabric, we can mention that it is a versatile fabric that can be used for both sportswear and fashion garments. Its elasticity makes it ideal for fitted and body-hhugging apparel. In water sports, its chlorine resistance and UV protection make it a safe choice for swimsuits and swimwear.
It is important to note some care instructions to maintain the quality of the fabric. We recommend washing the garment in water at a maximum temperature of 40°C, not using bleach, not tumble drying, and ironing at a cool temperature. It is also important to note that this fabric does not allow dry cleaning with trichloroethylene.
The Polyester Lycra, Nairobi, 270 gr/m2 uses sublimation printing technology, which involves printing the design onto special transfer paper and then transferring it onto the fabric using heat and pressure. This technique allows the design to penetrate the fabric fibers, achieving a high-quality print with a durable result that is resistant to washing and wear.
