The base fabric is the Antibacterial Water-Repellent Fabric - Tromso, a technical fabric made of 100% polyester with a weight of 160 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design, created using sublimation technology, features a drawn style with botanical elements and home decor details, with pictorial floral motifs and artistic flowers in aqua blue, charcoal red, and garnet red tones. This design is ideal for creating fashion garments, accessories, and home decor items. The base fabric has a water-repellent and antibacterial finish, with a rough texture to the touch.
The fabric is printed with the patterned design on one side only using digital textile printing. It is important to note that this fabric is not printed on both sides, but only on one, which means that its use in clothing requires greater care when cutting and joining the corresponding fabrics for its manufacture.
The general characteristics of the fabric and its design are ideal for use in fashion and decoration due to its versatility and water-repellent and antibacterial properties. In addition, the fabrics weight makes it resistant and comfortable to wear, creating garments that combine functionality and style.
Among the applications and uses of the fabric, we highlight its use in fashion to create garments such as pants, backpacks, and handbags, as well as decorative elements such as cushions, tablecloths, and paintings, without neglecting its proven use outdoors for sun loungers and cushions. In addition, it is also used in the elaboration of purses and toiletry bags.
It is necessary to take into account some care when treating this fabric. It is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 60°C, while dry cleaning is allowed except for trichloroethylene. For ironing, it is best to do it at a warm temperature and never tumble dry.
The printing technique used for the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation, a technique that allows the transfer of ink through a thermal printer capable of evaporating and fixing the color on the surface of the fabric. This printing technique guarantees the durability and quality of the design on the fabric, which ensures the creation of garments and decorative elements with an attractive and long-lasting final result.
