The Lycra Polyester fabric - Cairo is a high-quality, elastic and soft material, with a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a composition of 90% polyester and 10% elastane. Its printed design features an abstract mix of spots, drops, and brushstrokes, in an artistic and modern style, with predominant colors of Cotton White, Pepper Red, and Dark Pepper Red. Additionally, it can be combined with other solid colors, such as black, white, and navy blue. This fabric is printed on one side by digital textile printing.
The characteristics of this fabric include its elasticity and softness, as well as its chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection of 50+. The printed design of the fabric is durable and high quality, making it ideal for sportswear, lingerie, swimwear, and other uses.
Regarding applications and uses, this fabric is suitable for sportswear, such as tops, bikinis, and swimsuits, as well as lingerie and scrunchies. It can also be used to create fashion garments, such as knitwear. Furthermore, thanks to the fabrics UV protection, it is ideal for swimwear that requires additional protection against the suns rays.
As for care, this fabric can be machine washed at a maximum temperature of 40°C, bleach should not be used, and it should be ironed at a low temperature. In addition, it is advisable not to tumble dry and dry cleaning is permitted, except with trichloroethylene.
Finally, this fabric is manufactured using polyester sublimation printing technology, which means that the design is transferred directly onto the fabric using heat and pressure. This process allows for the creation of very precise and high-quality designs that last over time and can be printed on polyester fabric.
