The Glasgow Cloth fabric is a blend of polyester, viscose, and elastane with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design, created with sublimation technology, is in a decorative-botanical style with pictorial and artistic floral elements. The main colors of the design are 28.85% reddish tones and 25.8% greenish tones. This single-sided printed fabric has a soft touch and simple complexity.
The ideal combination for this fabric can be with solid colors such as black, white, beige, or gray, allowing the details of the printed design to stand out better. Among the general characteristics that highlight this fabric, its application in altar objects, coats, jackets, vests, blazers, and blousons stands out. In addition, it can also be used in the creation of coasters, kitchen towels, and other home textile elements.
Regarding the care that should be taken to keep this fabric in good condition, it is recommended not to bleach it, wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, iron it at a warm temperature, and not tumble dry it. The garment should also not be subjected to any type of dry cleaning.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which consists of a process of ink transfer through a specialized digital printer and a high-temperature heat press. This process allows the design to be permanently printed on the fabric surface without cracking over time.
