The Punto Roma Elástico - Lyon fabric is a knitted fabric with a composition of 97% polyester and 3% elastane, which gives it great elasticity. Its weight of 282 gr/m2 and its soft texture make it ideal for making winter garments, such as tops, t-shirts, pants, dresses, and sweaters. In addition, it can also be used in home textiles, for making dining napkins.
The printed design on this fabric is colorful and drawn, with a very present floral nature featuring daisies, plants, petals, and artistic and pictorial flowers. The main colors of the design are 47.61% white background and 16.46% reddish tones. This fabric would combine perfectly with solid colors in white, red, green, and black tones.
The fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing. This means that the print is only present on one side of the fabric. The general characteristics of both the fabric and the design are remarkable. On the one hand, the fabric is very soft and elastic, which makes it a very comfortable fabric to use and wear. On the other hand, the stamped design is detailed and symbolizes a very present floral nature.
As we have already mentioned, the application and use of the fabric are very varied, being ideal for making fashion and home garments. In addition, thanks to its soft and pleasant texture, it is highly recommended for clothing that needs to fit and adapt well to the body.
Regarding the care that should be taken for this fabric, it is important not to bleach it, not to use high temperatures for washing, not to use a dryer, and to iron it at low temperatures. In addition, it can be dry cleaned as long as trichloroethylene is not used.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is Sublimation (Polyester). This printing technique is used on polyester fabrics, as sublimated inks chemically adhere to the fabric, providing high quality and resistance to the print. In addition, this technique allows a large number of details and a wide range of colors to be included in the stamped design.
