The Lycra Polyester fabric - Nairobi, weighing 270 gr/m2, features a cheerful and colorful printed design, with artistic flowers and daisies in predominantly warm tones such as yellow and orange. The fabric, printed on one side using digital textile printing, has the general characteristics of being textured, elastic, and resistant to chlorine and UV rays, with a very high protection factor of 50+.
This fabric can be used for making lingerie, bodysuits, and activewear, swimwear, and fashion items, such as swimsuits, bikinis, leotards, tights, leggings, and general beachwear, even for children. It pairs very well with solid colors in warm tones like yellow, orange, or red.
Care instructions for this type of fabric include not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, ironing at a cool temperature, and avoiding the use of a tumble dryer. Dry cleaning is allowed, except with trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used on this fabric is polyester sublimation. In this process, the design is printed using sublimation ink on special paper and then transferred to the fabric through the application of heat and pressure, which ensures excellent quality and vibrancy in the colors and much greater resistance to fading and washing than other printing techniques.
