The fabric used is Polyester Lycra - Nairobi, which is characterized by being elastic and soft to the touch. The printed design features a mix of abstract spots in soft ivory white, cantaloupe orange, and softer cantaloupe orange. These colors are combined simply and artistically, creating a decorative and drawn design with circle and polka dot shapes. In addition, the design conveys a sense of complexity. To complement the design, plain colors such as white, bright orange, and light grey can be combined.
The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only. This means that the design is only present on one side of the fabric, not on both sides.
Regarding general characteristics, the fabric is chlorine resistant and has a very high UV Protection Factor (UPF 50+), which provides effective protection against sun rays. In addition, the fabric is elastic, making it comfortable to wear and adapting easily to the body.
In terms of applications and uses, Nairobi fabric is ideal for making lingerie, bodysuits, sportswear such as swimsuits, bikinis, leotards, and leggings. It is also used in swimwear fashion, such as swimsuits with modern designs and striking prints. Its versatility makes it suitable for different seasons and styles, so it can be considered timeless.
Regarding fabric care, it is recommended not to use bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, avoid dry cleaning with trichloroethylene, iron at a low temperature, and do not tumble dry. Following these instructions will ensure greater durability and preservation of the fabric and design.
The printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation, which is performed on polyester. This technique guarantees high quality and precision in the reproduction of colors and designs, as well as greater resistance to washing and wear. Sublimation allows colors to merge with the fabric fibers, which prevents them from fading over time and ensures greater durability.
