The base fabric for this description is Glasgow Cloth, a fabric composed of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane. With a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is perfect for fashion and home textile applications. In turn, the printed design features shapes based on stripes and lines in the main colors of artistic purple and cotton white.
The design, printed on one side by digital textile printing, presents a range of symmetrical and harmonious shapes ranging from horizontal to vertical lines, which combine with the intensity of artistic purple and the clarity of cotton white. The plain colors that best combine with Glasgow fabric would be in white and black tones, and in shades of gray.
Glasgow fabric is soft to the touch, with a standard texture and an ideal body weight for creating quality outerwear garments, coats, jackets, blousons, among others. In home textiles, it is perfect for creating fabric coasters in the dining room, wall lights, or upholstered chairs in this type of fabric.
Glasgow fabric requires specific care, such as not being bleached, it can be washed at maximum temperatures of 40°C, it should be ironed at warm temperatures avoiding the use of a tumble dryer on the fabric.
The printing technology used on this fabric is polyester sublimation, a process in which special inks are applied to transfer paper and high temperature and pressure are used to print the image onto the fabric on one side.
