Recycled Lycra fabric - Seal is a high-quality, durable stretch fabric, composed of 75% polyester and 25% elastane. With a weight of 230 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is perfect for garments such as lingerie, sportswear, swimwear, tights/leggings and more. In addition, it has GRS certification, which guarantees its sustainability as it is made with recycled materials.
The printed design on this fabric features a combination of styles, such as watercolor, abstract and artistic. Its shapes are inspired by paintings, squares and tiles, which gives it a modern and decorative look. This design stands out for its standard complexity and its main color palette that includes 33.27% of color 1 and 25.19% of color 2. To combine with these colors, solid colors such as white, black, navy blue, gray or green can be used.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side by digital textile printing. This means that the design is on the front side of the fabric, while the back is solid color and has no print.
In terms of general characteristics, the Recycled Lycra fabric - Seal is elastic and has a soft touch. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and offers high UV protection with a protection factor of 50+. These characteristics make the fabric ideal for both water activities and for protecting the skin from the sun.
Regarding applications and uses, in addition to those mentioned above, this fabric can also be used in fashion garments such as dresses, fitted t-shirts or tops. Its elasticity and its ability to adapt to the body make it very versatile.
To keep this fabric in good condition, it is recommended to follow some care instructions. It should not be bleached, the maximum washing temperature is 40ºC, it cannot be dry cleaned, it should be ironed at a cool temperature and it cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This process consists of transferring the design to the fabric using heat, which provides sharp and durable image quality.
