The fabric in question is Synthetic Knit with Spandex - Support, a knitted fabric composed of 95% polyester and 5% elastane. With a weight of 237 gr/m2 and a width of 152 cm, this fabric offers a soft and elastic texture, suitable for a wide range of garments including lingerie, fashion, accessories, and sportswear.
The printed design is a combination of pictorial, artistic, botanical, and decorative elements, with an overall illustrative and two-color style. It stands out for its floral theme, featuring stylized and artistic flowers, as well as plant-related elements such as petals. The main colors of the design are 73.52% and 16.95%.
In addition to these colors, the design can be combined with a wide variety of solid colors, depending on the desired focus for the garment or accessory in which it is used. Colors such as white, black, pale pink, light blue, and mint green can perfectly complement the printed design.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the design on one side only, using digital textile printing technology. This means that the design is only on one side of the fabric, providing a high-quality and durable finish.
In terms of general characteristics, the fabric stands out for its soft touch, visual opacity, and elasticity. This makes it ideal for fitted garments that require comfort and flexibility. As for the applications and uses of this fabric, apart from those mentioned above, it is commonly found in lingerie such as briefs, bodysuits, and bras/bralettes. It is also used in knitwear, for both women and men, such as tops. Furthermore, it is suitable for accessories like scrunchies and hair ties, as well as sportswear for women, men, and children.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It is suitable for dry cleaning, with the exception of trichloroethylene. For ironing, a cool temperature should be used, and it should be ironed on the reverse side of the fabric. It cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation, specifically adapted for polyester fabrics. Sublimation allows for durable and vibrant printing that does not wear out or fade easily over time.
