The Synthetic Knit Fabric with Spandex - Support is a knit fabric composed of 95% polyester and 5% elastane. With a weight of 237 gr/m2 and a width of 152 cm, this fabric is soft to the touch and elastic, providing excellent comfort and fit. Its printed design features various characteristics that make it unique: it is pictorial, simple, abstract, two-color, black and white, artistic, drawn, and features stripes.
To complement this design, you can combine it with solid colors such as white, black, gray, or even vibrant tones like red or navy blue. This combination will highlight the main colors of the design, which make up 61.25% and 31.43%.
The fabric is printed with the patterned design on one side using digital textile printing. This means that the design is only on one side of the fabric and not on both. This printing technique allows for high image quality and durability.
In terms of general characteristics, the Synthetic Knit Fabric with Spandex - Support offers a soft touch and is visually opaque. Thanks to its composition of polyester and elastane, it is also elastic, providing great flexibility and fit when making garments.
The applications and uses of this fabric are varied. It is commonly used for making lingerie garments such as briefs, bodysuits, and bras, as well as tops and knitwear for both women and men. It is also suitable for accessories such as scrunchies and hair ties. Furthermore, due to its strength and elasticity, it is also suitable for sports clothing for women, men, and children.
It is important to consider certain care instructions to maintain the quality of this fabric. It is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. Additionally, it can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene. When ironing, it should be done at a cool temperature and always on the reverse side of the fabric. A tumble dryer should not be used to dry it.
The printing technology used in this fabric is polyester sublimation. This technique involves transferring the design through heat and pressure, causing the pigments to turn into gas and permanently adhere to the polyester fibers. This ensures durable and high-quality printing.
