The base fabric for this printed design is the Punto Roma Elástico - Lyon. It is a knit fabric with a composition of 97% polyester and 3% elastane, which provides elasticity and comfort when worn. With a weight of 282 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is ideal for knit garments such as tops, t-shirts, pants, dresses, and sweaters. It can also be used in home textiles, for example, in the production of dining napkins. Its season of use is primarily winter due to its thickness and warmth.
The printed design features artistic characteristics, combining elements of painting and watercolor, resulting in a modern and artistic style. Its shapes are inspired by ovals, adding an interesting and fun touch to the fabric. The main colors of this design are 43.61% and 19.98%; however, it can also combine very well with solid colors such as white, black, red, and navy blue.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the design on one side only, using digital textile printing technology. This means that the design is present on one side of the fabric, while the other side remains plain and unprinted.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, we can highlight its soft texture, which makes it very pleasant to wear. In addition, its composition of polyester and elastane provides elasticity, which facilitates mobility and the fit of the garments made.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, in addition to those mentioned above, it is important to note that its elasticity and comfort make it ideal for fashion garments for both women and men. As for the care of this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. Dry cleaning is also allowed, except with trichloroethylene. To iron it, it is necessary to do so at a cool temperature, and it cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used on this fabric is polyester sublimation. This process allows colors and designs to be impregnated into the fabric fibers, ensuring high quality and durability in the print.
