Polyester Lycra - Cairo 220 gr/m2

The Polyester Lycra fabric - Cairo is an elastic, soft and resistant fabric, with a composition of 90% polyester and 10% elastane. It has a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design features a mix of botanical and floral elements, with vibrant colors such as periwinkle pink, whale blue and darkmagenta purple. This design is characterized by its standard complexity and colorful styles, with details of wildflowers, stylized flowers, leaves and plants.

The fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing. It is important to note that the print is only on one side of the fabric and not on both.

In terms of general characteristics, the Polyester Lycra fabric - Cairo is elastic to the touch and soft to the touch with the skin. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and has Very High UV Protection with a factor of 50+, which makes it ideal for sports activities and swimwear.

Regarding the applications and uses of the fabric, it can be used for making sportswear, for women, men and children. It is also suitable for lingerie garments, such as bras and bodysuits, as well as for tops and knitwear in womens and mens fashion. In addition, it is ideal for making scrunchies and bikinis.

Regarding the care of the fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It is suitable for dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene. It can be ironed at a cold temperature, but should not be tumble dried.

The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, which allows colors to be durably fixed in the fabric. This process uses heat to convert the ink into gas and penetrate the polyester fibers, creating a high-definition and wash-resistant print.
