The Recycled Lycra - Seal fabric is a stretchy and resistant fabric weighing 230 gr/m2 with a composition of 75% polyester and 25% elastane. It has a chlorine-resistant finish and offers very high UV protection with a factor of 50+. With a soft and elastic texture, this fabric is ideal for lingerie, swimwear, sportswear, and fashion garments, such as bikinis, swimsuits, leotards, and tights/leggings. Its printed design features a standard complexity, inspired by nature with botanical and colorful elements, such as wildflowers, stylized flowers, flowers, and leaves. The main colors of the design are Periwinkle Pink (63.39%), Whale Blue (19.91%), and DarkMagenta Purple (10.17%). This fabric can be combined with solid colors such as white, black, light gray, and mint green.
The fabric is printed with the patterned design on one side using digital textile printing. It is important to note that the design is on only one side of the fabric, not on both sides. This printing technique guarantees excellent quality and durability of the colors, as well as high precision in the details of the design.
Regarding general characteristics, the Recycled Lycra - Seal fabric presents excellent elasticity, which makes it very comfortable to wear. Its chlorine-resistant finish makes it ideal for swimwear that will be exposed to pools and seawater. In addition, its very high UV protection factor protects the skin from harmful sun rays.
As for the applications and uses of this fabric, in addition to those mentioned above, it can also be used for making sportswear, for women, men, and children. Its elasticity and resistance make it perfect for garments that require freedom of movement, such as leggings and leotards.
It is important to consider some care instructions for this fabric. It is recommended to machine wash it with cold water and delicately, without using bleach. It is not suitable for dry cleaning and should be ironed at a cool temperature. Also, it cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation, which consists of transferring the colors of the design through heat and pressure. This ensures complete fixation of the colors on the fabric, preventing them from fading over time. Sublimation printing also allows for high precision in the details of the design, achieving a crisp and vibrant appearance.
