The base fabric is Velvet Corduroy - Dublin, a corduroy-type fabric composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane. With a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric stands out for its softness and visual sheen.
The printed design is abstract in style and is inspired by watercolor stains, paint, and modern art. Its complexity is simple, yet colorful and tricolor, with abstract shapes and ovals, as well as circles and dots. The main colors of the design are cotton white (60.57%), periwinkle purple (21.21%), and worm pink (8.28%). This design can be combined with solid colors such as black, gray, and navy blue to highlight its style and create visually appealing contrasts.
The fabric is digitally textile printed with the design on one side only. It is important to mention that the design is not on both sides of the fabric, but only on one.
The general characteristics of the fabric include its soft touch and visual sheen. The velvet corduroy offers a pleasant texture and a luxurious appearance. On the other hand, the printed design adds an artistic and original touch, with vibrant colors and abstract shapes that draw attention.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, its usefulness in the decoration and upholstery of furniture such as chairs, armchairs, and sofas stands out. It is also used in fashion for making pants, overshirts, jackets, blazers, bomber jackets, vests, bags, and backpacks. Additionally, it can be used in the creation of accessories for both fashion and home, such as cushions, baskets, and other decorative elements.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It cannot be dry cleaned with trichloroethylene and should be ironed at a cold temperature. Finally, it is not suitable for tumble drying.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which is applied to polyester fabrics. This process consists of transferring the design through heat and pressure, achieving a durable and high-quality print on the fabric.
