The fabric for this design is a Polyester Lycra called Nairobi, weighing 270 gr/m2. It has a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane, making it elastic and soft to the touch. With a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, it is perfect for lingerie, sportswear, swimwear, bikinis, tights, leggings, and general fashion. It is chlorine-resistant and offers very high UV protection with a factor of 50+.
The printed design has a standard complexity and is artistic, colorful, decorative, and illustrative. It features aquatic stars and corals in main shades of pearl pink, Cadillac pink, and camouflage green. These colors can be combined with other solid colors such as white, black, navy blue, or mint green to highlight the different colors of the design.
The fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing, which means it is not printed on both sides but only on one. This ensures that the design is sharp and of high quality.
In terms of general characteristics, the fabric has an elastic texture and a chlorine-resistant finish, making it perfect for swimwear. Additionally, it offers very high UV protection, making it an excellent choice for outdoor wear. The printed design, on the other hand, is striking and eye-catching, perfect for garments that want to stand out.
The applications and uses of this fabric range from lingerie and sportswear to swimsuits, bikinis, and leotards. It can also be used to make leggings and general fashion garments. Its elasticity and resistance make it ideal for garments that require movement and durability.
Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene, and ironed at a low temperature. It is important to avoid using a tumble dryer with this fabric.
The printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation, which is performed on polyester. This process involves transferring inks to the fabric using heat and pressure, ensuring high color fidelity and exceptional durability. Digital textile printing allows for the creation of detailed and high-resolution designs, offering endless creative possibilities.
