The fabric of this garment is a Polyester Lycra - Cairo 220 gr/m2. It is an elastic fabric, composed mainly of polyester (90%) and elastane (10%). It has a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The fabric has a soft and elastic feel, which makes it very comfortable to wear.
The printed design that adorns this fabric is complex and artistic. It is characterized by botanical inspirations, with floral elements and leaves. We find large and stylized flowers, as well as roses. The design is made in main colors that predominate at 45.5% and 22.32%. As for solid colors that could combine with this design, neutral tones such as white or black could be used, as well as more vibrant tones such as green or red, depending on the desired effect.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing. This means that the design is only present on one side of the fabric, which must be taken into account when working with it.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, it is worth noting that it is chlorine resistant and has a very high UV protection factor (50+), which makes it suitable for use in swimwear and sportswear. In addition, the fabric is elastic, which gives it great comfort and adaptability to the body.
As for the applications and uses of this fabric, several can be highlighted. On the one hand, it is suitable for sportswear for women, men, and children. It can also be used in lingerie, such as bras and bralettes, as well as in knitwear and fashion tops. Other uses include the manufacture of scrunchies, bikinis and swimsuits for women, and swim shorts for men.
Regarding the care that should be taken for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. In addition, it allows dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene. It is advisable to iron it at a cool temperature and it cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation on polyester. Digital textile printing allows for a high-quality and durable design, as the colors are impregnated directly into the fibers of the fabric. This guarantees a vivid and resistant result over time.
