The fabric we present to you is Synthetic Knit with Spandex - Support. It is a knit fabric composed mainly of polyester (95%) and elastane (5%), which provides elasticity and comfort. With a weight of 237 gr/m2 and a width of 152 cm, this fabric is perfect for tight-fitting and elastic garments.
The printed design presented on this fabric is a combination of various attributes. On the one hand, we can appreciate that it is a pictorial and complex design, with an artistic and floral style. Large, colorful flowers become the protagonist of this design, being its floral and abstract nature. In addition, we also find elements of plants, such as leaves.
The design stands out for its colorfulness, using a multicolored proposal as a base. This allows it to be combined with a wide range of solid colors, such as white, black, pink, green or blue, among others. In this way, contrasts and harmonies can be created according to the style and intention of each garment.
It is important to mention that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side only by digital textile printing. This means that the design is only on one side of the fabric, without affecting its reverse.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, we highlight its softness to the touch, its opaque appearance and its elasticity. These qualities allow the fabric to be comfortable to wear, adapt to the body and have a good drape.
In terms of applications and uses, the Synthetic Knit with Spandex - Support fabric is ideal for lingerie garments such as briefs, bodysuits and bras/bralettes. It is also widely used in womens and mens fashion garments, such as tops and knitwear. In addition, it can be used in accessories, sportswear and other items such as scrunchies and hair ties.
Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. Dry cleaning is permitted except with trichloroethylene. Ironing should be done at a cool temperature and always on the reverse side of the fabric. Do not tumble dry.
The Synthetic Knit with Spandex - Support fabric is manufactured using sublimation printing technology. This printing technique is specific for polyester fabrics and allows the colors and details of the design to be sharp and durable. In addition, it ensures that the print does not lose quality or fade over time.
