The fabric, called Organic Cotton Twill - Florence, is an organic cotton twill with a weight of 195 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm. Its care requires maximum washing temperatures of 30ºC, it admits dry cleaning except with trichloroethylene, it can be ironed at a cold temperature, and it cannot be tumble-dried.
The printed design on the fabric is pictorial and complex in style, inspired by Van Goghs work and nature, with botanical and decorative elements. The presence of sunflowers and plant leaves in dark forest green, hazelnut brown, and muddy brown tones stands out.
This design can be combined with solid colors such as yellow, orange, and beige to further highlight the natural tones of the print.
The fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing technology. This means that the design is present only on one side of the fabric, not on both.
In terms of general characteristics, the fabric has a soft touch, yet a rigid structure. This gives it great versatility for use in various applications. Some of the recommended applications and uses for this fabric include decorating frames and paintings, fashion garments such as pants, overshirts, jeans, and shorts, and accessories such as toiletry bags and coin purses. It can also be used in home textiles such as cushions, table runners, placemats, tablecloths, and napkins.
Regarding fabric care, it is recommended to avoid the use of bleach and to wash at maximum temperatures of 30ºC. It is important not to use trichloroethylene in dry cleaning and to iron at a cold temperature. In addition, it is not recommended to tumble dry the fabric.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is reactive direct digital printing, specially designed for natural fibers such as organic cotton. This printing method allows for precise reproduction of the design with intense and long-lasting colors. Furthermore, by using reactive inks, a print resistant to washing and the passage of time is guaranteed.
In summary, the Organic Cotton Twill - Florence fabric features a pictorial and complex printed design inspired by nature and Van Goghs work. With predominant tones of dark forest green, hazelnut brown, and muddy brown, the design can be combined with solid colors such as yellow, orange, and beige. The fabric is soft to the touch but rigid in texture, and its printing is done with reactive direct digital technology. With varied applications and uses, this fabric requires specific care to maintain its quality and durability.
