Polyester-Lycra Cairo fabric is a stretchy, soft Lycra with a weight of 220 gr/m2. It is composed of 90% polyester and 10% elastane, which gives it great elasticity and allows it to adapt perfectly to the body. It has a width of 150 cm and is ideal for sportswear, such as swimsuits, bikinis, bras, and tops. It can also be used in the manufacture of lingerie and knitwear.
The printed design on this fabric is inspired by Van Goghs artistic style, characterized by his use of vibrant colors and expressive brushstrokes. The main colors of the design are multicolored, which adds a touch of joy and dynamism. In addition, this design can combine very well with solid colors such as black, white, navy blue, or yellow, allowing for the creation of striking and modern outfits.
It is important to note that this fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only. This means that the design is on only one side of the fabric and is not present on the reverse.
In terms of general characteristics, Polyester-Lycra Cairo fabric stands out for its soft and elastic texture, which guarantees great comfort when wearing garments made with this fabric. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and a very high UV protection factor (UPF 50+), which makes it suitable for use in swimwear and sportswear.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, in addition to those mentioned above, it is important to mention that it is suitable for making bodysuits, tops, and scrunchies. Its elasticity and softness make it perfect for garments that require an optimal fit and a pleasant feel against the skin.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is important to follow the indications provided: do not bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, dry cleaning is possible (except with trichloroethylene), iron at a cool temperature, and do not tumble dry.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation, which allows the colors and details of the design to be durably transferred to the fabric through heat and pressure. This guarantees a high-quality result and vivid colors in the printed fabric.
