Se trata de un tejido con relieve y al ser impreso presenta fuerza de color en las fibras más externas quedando en su color natural las fibras internas. Puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. |
Tweed - Chanel fabric is a polyester fabric with a weight of 420 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its 100% polyester composition gives it strength and durability. Care requires washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, it can be dry cleaned (except trichloroethylene) and should be ironed at a low temperature. Tumble drying is not recommended.
The printed design of this fabric is a combination of different artistic styles, such as pictorial, abstract, mosaic and illustration, inspired by Kandinskys work. Its main colors are multicolored and it is characterized by its complexity and decorative style. This design can be combined with plain colors such as black, white, beige or gray, to highlight the details and give balance to the garment or decoration.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed on one side only by digital textile printing. This means that the design is only present on one side of the fabric, while the other side remains smooth and uniform.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric, its texture is rigid to the touch, which gives it body and structure. Its high resistance makes it ideal for fashion garments such as jackets, blazers, coats, skirts, dresses, jackets/vests and shorts/bermudas. It can also be used in accessories such as bow ties and caps, as well as in the making of cushions for living room, bedroom and kitchen. Its versatility makes it an ideal choice for both fashion and decoration.
As for care, it is important to follow the specific washing and ironing instructions for this fabric to ensure its durability and keep the design intact. It is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, avoiding the use of bleaching products. Dry cleaning can also be done, except with trichloroethylene. Ironing should be done at a low temperature to avoid damage to the fabric and the printed design. Tumble drying is not recommended.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, specifically for polyester fabrics. This printing process allows the colors and details of the design to be transferred directly onto the fabric, ensuring excellent quality and durability. Sublimation is a digital printing technique that uses special inks that transform into a gaseous state when they come into contact with the fabric, penetrating the fibers and ensuring permanent fixation of the design. The result is a sharp and vibrant finish in the printed design.
