The Bi-elastic Twill - Lisbon fabric is a type of twill fabric composed of 97% polyester and 3% elastane. With a weight of 209 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is ideal for making fashion garments for both women and men, such as trousers, skirts, jeans, shorts, and dresses. It can also be used in home decoration, such as in the kitchen for tea towels and cushions, or in the bedroom and living room for cushions.
The fabrics texture is rough, elastic, and soft to the touch, giving it a comfortable feel when worn. Its printed design features a combination of styles, highlighting pictorial, abstract, colourful, and mosaic elements inspired by the work of artists like Kandinsky. The main colours of the design are multicoloured, allowing for versatile combination with other solid colours.
It is important to mention that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing. This means that the design is only present on one side of the fabric, which may be relevant for projects requiring specific use of the design.
Regarding general characteristics, the bi-elastic twill fabric offers great elasticity and resistance, making it suitable for garments that require mobility and durability. The printed design, on the other hand, adds an artistic and decorative touch to any project.
As for the applications and uses of the fabric, in addition to those mentioned above, it can be used in the manufacture of fashion accessories, such as bags, hats, or belts. It is also suitable for creating decorative elements such as frames, paintings, and cushions for indoor and outdoor spaces.
Regarding care, it is recommended to wash the fabric at a maximum temperature of 30ºC and avoid using bleach. The fabric allows dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene, and should be ironed at a cool temperature. Tumble drying is not recommended.
The Bi-elastic Twill - Lisbon fabric is produced using sublimation printing technology on polyester. This process uses heat and pressure to transfer the design from paper to fabric, resulting in a durable and high-quality print. Sublimation printing technology ensures the fidelity of the colours and details of the design.
