The fabric used is a Polyester Lycra called Nairobi, which has a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. It is composed of 82% polyester and 18% elastane. This fabric is characterized by being elastic and having a soft and elastic feel.
The printed design of this fabric presents different attributes and main colors. In terms of styles, it is picturesque, artistic, botanical, colorful, drawn, and illustrative. Star shapes and nature represented by landscapes and trees can be appreciated. The main colors are CadetBlue in 92.65%, Dark Forest green in 5.71%, and Mint Cream green in 1.18%.
This printed design combines very well with other plain colors such as white, black, mint green, and light gray. These colors would help highlight the different elements of the design and create harmonious combinations.
It is important to mention that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side only using digital textile printing. This means that the design is on one side of the fabric and not on both sides.
Regarding general characteristics, the fabric has an elastic texture and is chlorine resistant. In addition, it has a very high UV protection factor finish, offering 50+ sun protection. This combination of characteristics makes the fabric perfect for applications such as lingerie, sportswear, swimwear, leotards, and tights/leggings.
Regarding care, it is recommended to avoid bleaching and wash the fabric at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It can also be dry cleaned, excluding trichloroethylene. Ironing should be done at a cool temperature and it cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used in this fabric is polyester sublimation. This technique allows the design to be printed durably and with high quality on the fabric, without affecting its elasticity or its soft feel.
