The Recycled Lycra Fabric - Seal is an elastic lycra fabric with a composition of 75% polyester and 25% elastane. It has a weight of 230 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. It presents a soft texture to the touch and is resistant to chlorine, making it ideal for lingerie, sportswear, swimsuits, tights, leggings, and bathing suits. It is a certified sustainable fabric, as it is made with recycled materials and complies with the Global Recycled Standard (GRS).
Regarding its printed design, it presents a pictorial and artistic style, with standard complexity. It is characterized by its stick shapes and its variety of bright and cheerful colors. The main colors are mint green, light aqua, and dark red.
This design can combine perfectly with solid colors such as white, black, navy blue, and pale pink, as they will highlight the main colors and give balance to the ensemble.
It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side only, using sublimation technology. This means that the design is not on the reverse side of the fabric, but only on the printed side.
Regarding general characteristics, this fabric stands out for its elasticity and chlorine resistance, which makes it ideal for sportswear or swimsuits. In addition, it has very high UV protection (factor 50+), which makes it a safe option for outdoor activities.
The applications and uses of this fabric range from lingerie and underwear to sportswear, swimsuits, and general fashion. Its elasticity and durability make it suitable for fitted garments, such as tights or leggings, and its chlorine resistance ensures that the colors remain intense even after several washes.
Regarding the care that must be taken, it is important not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, do not dry clean, iron at a cool temperature, and avoid the use of a dryer.
Finally, the printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, which consists of transferring ink through heat and pressure, which guarantees a durable and high-quality print. This technique allows detailed designs and brilliant colors to be achieved on the fabric.
