The Recycled Lycra fabric is a Lycra fabric composed of 85% polyester and 15% elastane, with a weight of 190 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its texture is soft and elastic, making it very pleasant to the touch. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and a very high UV protection factor (UPF 50+), which makes it ideal for sportswear and swimwear applications.
The printed design of this fabric is characterized by being pictorial and simple, with elements of Christmas, abstract, artistic, and colorful style. The main shapes are circles and dots, and the main colors of the design are deep sea green (92.38%), light orange (2.93%), and dark mint (2.17%).
This design can be combined with other solid colors such as white, black, navy blue, or coral to create a striking contrast. It is important to note that the fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only, meaning the design is only on one side of the fabric.
In terms of general characteristics, this fabric provides excellent elasticity and resistance, making it perfect for garments that require mobility and durability. In addition, its chlorine-resistant finish ensures that it remains in good condition even in pool or saltwater environments. On the other hand, UV protection provides an additional barrier against harmful sun rays.
In terms of applications and uses, this fabric is very versatile. Apart from its use in sportswear and swimwear such as bikinis and swimsuits, it can also be used in accessories such as ponytails and scrunchies. Its colorful and decorative appearance makes it a popular option for fashion in general.
To keep this fabric in good condition, it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and avoid dry cleaning. In addition, it should be ironed at a cool temperature and not tumble dried to avoid damage to the fabric. These precautions will help preserve both the color and elasticity of the fabric.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows for vibrant and durable color reproduction. By applying heat and pressure, colors and designs are permanently impregnated into the fabric, ensuring high print quality and wear resistance.
