The Recycled Lycra fabric is a 190 gr/m2 Lycra fabric, composed of 85% polyester and 15% elastane. Its name refers to its manufacture from recycled materials, making it a sustainable option. With a width of 150 cm, this fabric has a soft and elastic texture, which makes it comfortable to wear. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and a very high UV protection factor of 50+, making it ideal for swimwear or sportswear.
As for the printed design, it is characterized by being Pictorial, Standard, Christmas, Colorful, Decorative, Artistic, Bright, Geometric, Tricolor and with stripe shapes. Its main color combination is composed of Pepper Red (56.13%), Cotton White (19.64%) and Algae Green (17.46%). This design can combine well with solid colors such as black, white or green.
It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side by digital textile printing, which means that the design is only on one side of the fabric.
Regarding the general characteristics of the fabric and the printed design, we can highlight that the fabric is soft to the touch and elastic, which makes it comfortable to wear and suitable for fitted garments. The printed design presents a variety of styles, which gives it a decorative and artistic look. In addition, the vibrant and bright colors of the design add dynamism and visual appeal to the fabric.
As for the applications and uses of this fabric, in addition to those mentioned above (such as bikinis and swimsuits), it is also suitable for making scrunchies and hair ties. As for the care that should be taken into account for this fabric, it is recommended to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, avoid the use of bleaches, do not dry clean and iron at a low temperature. In addition, it should not be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which involves the transfer of inks to the fabric through heat and pressure. This technology allows obtaining high quality and durable prints on the fabric.
