The Crepe Chine - Recycled fabric stands out for its lightness and sustainability, with a printed design that evokes the vibrant 60s, where multicolored hearts and love predominate. This cheerful design is perfectly complemented by solid colors such as white, black, or pastel shades, providing versatility and style.
Technically, Crepe Chine is a crepe fabric made from recycled polyester, which not only gives it a soft, grainy texture but also makes it an environmentally conscious choice. Its weight of 82 gr/m² makes it light and suitable for warm climates, while its width of 150 cm allows for a wide variety of applications in fashion and home decor.
The design, printed on one side using digital textile printing, guarantees a vibrant representation of the characteristic colors of the print, creating a striking visual effect without compromising the softness of the fabric. This printing technology allows for exceptional precision in details, highlighting the hearts and graphic elements with a rich palette of multicolored colors, on a background that enhances their luminescence.
Regarding the applications of the fabric, it lends itself ideally to making a wide variety of garments, from elegant summer dresses and ethereal blouses, to skirts and shirts with a distinctive 60s touch. Additionally, due to its softness and drape, it is also suitable for lingerie and for decorative elements in the home such as curtains and table runners, making it a multifunctional option that adds a touch of freshness and creativity to any design.
Care for maintaining the quality of Crepe Chine - Recycled is essential. It is recommended not to bleach the fabric and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. Although it allows dry cleaning, the use of trichloroethylene should be avoided. For ironing, it is suggested to use a cool temperature, being especially careful not to damage the texture. Likewise, it should not be tumble dried, as this could alter the original shape and feel of the fabric.
Finally, the printing technology used is sublimation, a process in which special inks turn into gas when heated, fusing with the polyester fibers. This allows the design to be absorbed by the fabric, achieving superior resistance to wear and washing compared to other printing methods. As a result, Crepe Chine - Recycled is not only a striking and modern fabric, but also durable and easy to maintain, making it an ideal choice for designers and consumers conscious of sustainable fashion.
