The Prada Twill fabric is a soft twill fabric featuring an abstract printed design that combines watercolor elements in shades of daisy pink, mint green, deep sea green, and floral motifs. This design evokes a summery freshness, perfect for various fashion and decor applications.
Technically, the fabric is composed of 96% polyester and 4% elastane, providing slight elasticity and a soft touch that makes it pleasant to wear. The design elements are evocative, with fluid and colorful shapes that simulate a watercolor painting and represent nature in a creative and artistic way. Daisy pink, which dominates the design with 55.17%, adds a vibrant and cheerful touch, while mint and deep sea greens contribute to a perfect balance of freshness and visual depth. This color palette can be combined with solid tones such as white, soft gray, sky blue, or even a pale yellow, to create a harmonious contrast in garments and decorations.
The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side, resulting in high resolution and vibrant colors, ensuring that the design is striking and visually appealing. Digital textile printing allows for a wide range of fine details and color gradations, enhancing the aesthetic quality of the product.
The general characteristics of the Prada Twill fabric reflect its resistance and versatility. Its weight of 220 gr/m2 makes it ideal for manufacturing products that require good drape, such as shirts, blouses, dresses, and jumpsuits, as well as for use in home decor such as cushions and curtains. Its applications in fashion extend to accessories like scarves and bows, as well as in the design of suits and trousers, highlighting its potential in the casual and elegant textile industry.
Regarding fabric care, it is essential to follow specific instructions to preserve its quality and durability: it should not be bleached and washing is recommended at maximum temperatures of 30ºC. Additionally, tumble drying should be avoided, and ironing should be done at cool temperatures. Given its composition, it is suitable for dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene, which makes it easy to maintain.
The printing technology used in the Prada Twill fabric is sublimation, a process that transfers dyes to polyester fibers through heat, ensuring that the colors are durable and resistant to washing. This technique provides excellent detail definition and a vibrant finish, making it a preferred choice for complex and colorful designs, ensuring that the print remains as fresh as the first day.
