The Riga Stretch Knit Crepe fabric is distinguished by its elegant grainy finish and soft elastic texture, complemented by an abstract and distorted design that plays with a multicolor palette of dark tones. This type of print brings modernity and dynamism to garments, turning them into unique and striking pieces that stand out in any wardrobe. The design, printed on one side using a meticulous digital textile printing technique, ensures that each garment possesses a visual appeal not found in double-sided printed fabrics. Solid colors like black, gray, or warm tones like burgundy or mustard can combine perfectly with the colorful design, creating a balanced and sophisticated contrast.
Regarding its general characteristics, the Riga Stretch Knit Crepe offers remarkable elasticity, making it a comfortable and versatile option for daily wear. Its weight of 180 gr/m² is ideal for multiple fashion applications, including dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts, tops, and pants, allowing for the creation of garments that fit well to the body without restricting movement. Additionally, its use is not limited solely to fashion but also extends to home decoration, where it can be used to create table runners or lamp shades, giving a contemporary touch to spaces. These characteristics make this fabric a preferred choice for designers looking for innovation and functionality in their collections.
Regarding fabric care, it is recommended to avoid bleaching and wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. It is important to note that this fabric allows dry cleaning, with the exception of trichloroethylene, and I suggest ironing at a cool temperature to preserve the quality of the print and the texture of the fabric. In addition, a dryer can be used at a reduced temperature, which provides convenience in its maintenance and ensures that garments look impeccable after each use.
Finally, the printing technology used in the Riga Stretch Knit Crepe is sublimation, a method especially suitable for polyester fabrics. This process involves transferring inks through heat and pressure, allowing deep absorption of color into the fibers, resulting in vibrant colors and a design that is resistant to wear. This type of printing not only ensures that the designs remain intact after multiple washes but also enhances the texture and soft feel characteristic of this fabric, providing an exceptional visual and tactile experience to the wearer.
