The Tromso Water-Repellent Antibacterial Fabric is characterized by an abstract and distorted design featuring a multicolor palette with forms that evoke freshness and modernity. This print, predominantly in dark tones, offers a visual appeal where shapes and colors intertwine organically, creating an effect that can transform any textile project into a work of art. In combination with solid colors like black, dark gray, or even olive green, surprising contrasts can be achieved, enhancing the aesthetics of any space or garment. It is important to note that the fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only; it is not a double-sided printed fabric.
This fabric is not only visually appealing but also offers relevant functional characteristics. Its 100% polyester composition provides waterproof and water-repellent properties, meaning it is resistant to water and highly functional in applications requiring durability. Additionally, its antibacterial finish adds significant value, making the fabric ideal for environments where hygiene is paramount. The rough texture of the fabric not only adds an aesthetic element but also improves friction resistance, benefiting its use in a wide variety of applications.
Among the numerous applications and uses of this fabric, outdoor and indoor decoration stand out, such as in the creation of cushions for patio furniture, tablecloths, and sofa covers. It is also suitable for fashion, allowing for the manufacture of practical and stylish garments such as pants, jackets, and coats. This fabric also lends itself to the design of accessories, such as backpacks and wallets, as well as household items, including shower curtains and aprons, making it a versatile option in the textile field.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is essential to follow the care guidelines to preserve both its structure and its design. It is recommended to avoid bleaching and to use a maximum washing temperature of 60ºC. Although it allows dry cleaning (except with trichloroethylene), it should not be tumble dried or ironed at high temperatures; it is suggested to use warm heat for ironing. Attention to these details will help maintain the quality and durability of the fabric over time.
Finally, the printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation, a process that allows the ink to turn into gas and permanently integrate into the polyester fibers. This method not only ensures that the color and design are vibrant and long-lasting but also allows for great precision in the details of the print. Sublimation is, therefore, a technique that optimizes the quality of the visual finish, guaranteeing that each piece not only looks spectacular but also withstands the passage of time and wear.
