The fine water-repellent fabric - Storm is a water-repellent fabric, characterized by its waterproof finish and textured as a smooth and thin touch. Its design, which is manifested through abstract shapes and scribbles in a multi-color palette, is vibrant and contemporary, adding a touch of visual energy. This fabric is printed with the design stamped on one side using digital textile printing, which limits printing to one side and ensures a precise and detailed finish. To complement the vitality of this design, it can be combined with solid colors such as black, white, or neutral tones like gray, which will help balance its vibrancy.
Regarding general characteristics, Storm Fabric, with a composition of 100% polyester and a weight of 70 gr/m2, is presented as a functional and lightweight material, ideal for various applications. Its water resistance and soft texture make it perfect for both fashion and sportswear. The printed design, with its abstract and colorful aesthetic, becomes an attractive option for those seeking a modern and distinctive style. Thanks to its water-repellent nature, the fabric is ideal for making raincoats, jackets, and other items exposed to changing weather conditions.
The applications and uses of the fabric are broad, ranging from fashion to home textiles. It is especially suitable for jackets and raincoats, for both adults and children, providing style without compromising functionality. In the field of decoration, its attractive design makes it an excellent choice for shower curtains, cushions, kitchen oilcloths, and bed protectors, bringing a contemporary touch to any space. In addition, its resistance makes it perfect for outdoor use, such as in patios, where a material that withstands the weather is required.
The care to be taken for Storm Fabric is essential to preserve its quality and appearance. It is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, and not to use dry cleaning. When ironing, a cool temperature should be used to avoid damaging the fabric. It is important to mention that the fabric does not allow tumble drying, so it should be air-dried to ensure its durability.
The printing technology used is sublimation on polyester, a process that allows dyes to integrate into the fabric fibers, achieving high-quality and resistant printing. Sublimation is ideal for this type of fabric, as it oxidizes color particles at the time of printing, achieving vivid and durable designs that resist the passage of time and washing. This method also ensures that the fabric maintains its flexibility and comfort, without affecting its water-repellent capacity.
