The 270 gr/m2 Nairobi fabric is a Polyester Lycra that merges technical and aesthetic aspects. Its abstract, unfocused design features heart shapes in a multicolored palette, evoking dynamism and freshness.
This print, characterized by its distorted surface, plays with visual perception, creating an attractive visual effect that stands out without overwhelming. The combination of vibrant colors achieves a perfect balance, allowing integration with solid tones such as black, white, red, or navy blue, bringing elegance and versatility to any creation. It should be noted that the fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side, which ensures that the reverse of the fabric maintains its original color without fading, contributing to greater durability.
In general, Nairobi Lycra is known for its elastic texture and chlorine-resistant finish, two essential qualities in garments that will be exposed to variable conditions. This fabric offers very high UV protection (UPF 50+ factor), which is ideal for outdoor activities, highlighting its functionality in both sports and fashion. The quality of the fabric, combined with the vibrant design, makes it perfect for manufacturing lingerie, bodysuits, swimsuits, bikinis, leotards, and leggings, for men, women, and children alike. In addition, its versatility makes it an attractive option for timeless fashion collections, providing options that can be used across various seasons.
When it comes to care, it is essential to follow specific instructions to maintain the quality of the Nairobi fabric. To ensure that the fabric retains its shape and characteristics, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, and it withstands dry cleaning except for trichloroethylene. Ironing should be done at a low temperature, and tumble drying should be avoided, as this could damage the material and affect its elasticity.
Finally, the printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation, a process that allows complex and colorful designs to be precisely printed on polyester fabric. During sublimation, the ink turns into gas and adheres directly to the fabric fibers, ensuring a vibrant and durable image. This method is ideal for this fabric, as it not only respects the elasticity of Lycra but also ensures that the print maintains its intensity over time, even after multiple washes.
