Esta referencia de tela está fabricada a partir de botellas de plástico reciclado PET e hilo de poliéster reciclado, por lo que puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. También presenta unos indices de encogimiento relevantes que pueden oscilar entre un 4-9 % de encogimiento a lo largo del tejido y un 2% al ancho en función de la pieza. |
The Recycled PET Canvas Fabric - Dallas is a 100% polyester canvas characterized by its 260 gr/m2 grammage and a width of 160 cm. Its printed design stands out for a colorful style with stripe shapes, providing a dynamic and fresh look. This visual combination is complemented by a multicolor palette that can easily combine with plain colors such as white, black, or neutral tones that balance the vibrancy of the print. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing; it is not a double-sided printed fabric, which ensures that the unprinted side maintains the uniformity and quality of the recycled polyester.
Technically, the fabric has a rough and rigid texture, which gives it excellent body and resistance. Its opaque appearance contributes to the design maintaining its intensity and vitality, making it ideal for various applications. This fabric is widely versatile and is used not only for decoration, but also in fashion and everyday items. It can be used to make everything from cushions and tablecloths for the home, to clothing such as jackets, pants, and various accessories such as backpacks, bags, and hats. Its ability to be upholstered makes it perfect for furniture such as chairs, armchairs, and sofas, and being a resistant material, it is ideal for outdoor use in sun loungers, awnings, and patio covers.
It is important to pay proper attention to the care of this fabric to prolong its useful life. The washing and maintenance instructions that specify not to use bleach, wash at maximum temperatures of 30ºC, and allow dry cleaning with solvents must be followed. For ironing, cold temperature must be used and, although it can be machine dried, it must be done at low temperature to avoid damage to the textile fiber.
The printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation, a process in which ink is applied in a gaseous state directly onto the surface of the polyester. This printing method allows colors to integrate more deeply into the fabric fiber, creating vibrant and long-lasting prints without compromising the softness and resistance of the fabric. Sublimation is especially suitable for synthetic materials such as polyester, and in this case, it allows the design to maintain its integrity and vibrancy over time, making it an ideal option for both fashion and home decoration.
