The Tela Impermeable - Outdoor fabric features a vibrant and whimsical design that includes elements such as cats, bats, witches, ghosts, moons, cauldrons, and cobwebs, all in a palette of sienna brown, midnight black, and jam purple. This design is combined with the versatile nature of the fabric, which can complement solid colors like gray, olive green, warm orange, and beige.
This fabric is a technical material that stands out for its impermeability and its weight of 200 gr/m². Its texture has a granular and rough feel, which provides an opaque visual appearance, ideal for various uses, both in garment manufacturing and decoration. The printing is a key detail: the fabric is printed with the design on one side using sublimation technology, which guarantees high quality in the reproduction of colors and details. It is important to note that this fabric is not printed on both sides, which limits its use to certain applications without the need for a finish on the reverse side.
The fabric has multiple applications thanks to its resistance and aesthetics. In the fashion industry, it can be used for making trench coats, raincoats, jackets, and accessories such as backpacks and fanny packs, ideal for adverse weather conditions. In the world of decoration, its use extends to outdoors, where it is perfect for cushions, awnings, street covers, and sun loungers. In addition, its durability and resistance to humidity make it suitable for home textiles, such as tablecloths, aprons, and shower curtains.
Caring for this fabric is essential to maintain its functionality and appearance. It is recommended not to bleach, as this can harm the integrity of the color and the fabric. In addition, it does not allow dry cleaning, so it is preferable to opt for a gentle hand wash or machine wash with cold water. Ironing should be done at a low temperature to avoid damaging the material, and tumble drying is not recommended, favoring air drying to prevent fabric deformation.
The printing technology used for this fabric is sublimation on polyester, a process that allows gaseous inks to be transferred directly to the textile surface. This technique is characterized by its durability and wash resistance, as the colors integrate into the polyester fibers, resulting in sharp and vibrant images. Sublimation is especially effective on polyester, as this material has the ability to absorb ink optimally, ensuring that the design maintains its vividness over time.
